"Estriiiii! He's my pal, y'know? We've been together since the start of time! And oh, I feel so close to him. He's like a brother to me! Sure, I feel bad whenever he does more stuff than me. But hey. Why complain when I can just let him do it? It's not like he's going to rebel against me, psssssh. We can like, work together. He likes to do shit for people, yeah? Then let HIM DO IT! I can't shout at him to stop. Blegh. You'd have to be extremely corny to believe that. Work. Talking. I'll pat my way back in when there's something fun to do. He can do my work, and take care of me. Yeah. I'm not arguing against that."
"Pulpo's a spoiled brat. I don't hate or resent him, it's... difficult to place together. I'd consider us acquaintances more than anything. I don't mind taking care of him once or twice, sure. But I can't do it for the rest of our lives. Then again, what's life without a purpose? I can't stop. Even though I'd love for him to back himself up, he won't. And that's what hurts the most. I want to protect him. He doesn't let me. I can't let him go rogue, either. He'd become rabid."
Knock knock, who's there? Pulpo was a possible experiment in Orthoclase, being demoted down to a lower-class side of the facility after Miss Sand realized him and Estri were nearly complete failures. Being trapped inside a white, desolate room for so long, you'd expect them to go mad. However, both of them remained decently stable, enough so where Dumbo himself managed to socialize with a transfer to the Research Quarters. Corvus, nicknamed Corvo, accompanied by a staff member of her old reef. While these two didn't have the best relationship (Cygnus and him), the other pair did. They bonded, grew close to each other, and eventually started confessing secrets through the door. Alike a previous batch, they didn't know each other's faces. And by the time Pulpo made it out, it was simply too late.
