While sanitized, 9880's one of the most stoic Octolings you'd ever meet. Obeying each order without question, even if it were to cause harm to herself. She completes tests and experiments as if it was her only purpose in life. No matter the task -- she'll complete it, without a complaint. The closest thing one could come to a perfect solider. Near emotionless, the only person she shows a thing of care for is 9888. 9880 will try her best to speak up for her friend, and defends him as much as she can, despite her being an almost mindless drone. She's also a powerful leader figure.

While unsanitized, Ren still very much shows traces of her past life as an elite sanitized Octoling. She's awkward, and unsure of her surroundings or what to do or how to act. Frequently, she'll ask if it's okay to do certain things -- if it's okay for her to eat, to Turf War, etc, without an order to. As she's not using to handling herself independently. Clingy, she'll often latch onto people who can give her some insight of what to do, or praise her somehow. She's trying her best to learn how to handle herself -- she's a sweet girl.
