Profile

This nation housed the primary religion of the world before the Godfall. The religion collapsed afterwards, leaving a power vacuum long enough to be filled by the politicians of Halsil, but religious sentiment still remains somewhat common throughout the nation. Leaders and positions of power are assigned based on how much inventions please sponsors, which leaves them open to manipulation from other nations.

Brechildu's cudeve is a large crystal that is filled with magical energy. As it is a reliable source of magic, inventors use them like batteries. Lehnocht's cudeve is a large ribcage, also infused with magical energy. It is commonly used as a more discreet power source that looks like decoration in toys for children, like music boxes. Tausbau's cudeve is a large chunk of coal. It is surrounded by mining settlements filled with the lower classes.

After the religion collapsed, the nation began clinging desperately to Weslutreideve to regain their lost stability. This, however, does breed some resentment from the lower classes.

Their capital, Ildu, is known as a home to many scholars, and particularly magicians of various kinds. They are known for being on the forefront of magical tool engineering thanks to funding from Weslutreideve in exchange for early access to inventions. Wilfried's School for Aspiring Botanomancers is one of the schools that receives the most funding from the sponsors due to the other nation's agriculture industry.

Tacht, home of Freya, is one of the mining settlements surrounding the cudeve of Tausbau. Like the other Tausbau settlements, houses are owned by blacksmiths and other metalworkers, who employ lower-class miners to gather Taus coal in exchange for shelter and a small amount of the coal for the miners' own heating. The coal is then mostly used to keep forges burning or shipped off to Ildu as a research material.
