A sympathetic and gentle biology nerd that loves the cold (and cold food, whether it's supposed to be cold or not, his favorite being Goulash) and animals of all types, often found studying or interacting with the wildlife around Dragonspine. He lives with his sibling, Albedo, in their camp along with his cryo direwolf companion, Taiga, who is almost always at his side. Callahan patrols the dangerous territory with Taiga and helps people/creatures of all kinds, whether it be as simple as being lost or a severe injury/threat. He is quite self sacrificing, and doesn't see himself as worth very much at all (thanks to past trauma/childhood), often taking major risks just to ensure another's safety over his own.

Created much like Albedo was (being called "Subject Two"), Callahan was quickly cast aside for his multiple flaws (such as his stuttering and high emotions), overshadowed by his younger sibling. Overcome by rage and confusion, Callahan took his anger out on his other siblings (and many of Gold’s other creations), killing all of them (siblings). When he got to Durin, however, the dragon swallowed him whole and he was trapped for many years before finally waking up in Dragonspine.

He quickly set his sights on Albedo himself in hopes that once they were gone he would receive Gold's affection and praise (wherever she was) once he was the only one left. This backfired, being easily seen as a fraud by Albedo's friends and family before being confronted and nearly killed, instead spared and offered a second chance.

Since then he has done his best to redeem himself (despite the initial severe self loathing and depression), still unsure about himself and his place but finding solace in what he has now.

While patrolling Dragonspine with Taiga they ran into a group of hilichurls and a massive cryo lawchurl. After witnessing Taiga get thrown aside and become severely injured, Callahan sent out a burst of ice to take out the enemies. The snowflakes that fell from the burst healed most of Taiga's wounds, and he has used his vision to heal others since then.
