Psychological Profile
Largely cool and neutral, but has a sarcastic streak and can be friendly towards previous allies. Generally relaxed when not on a job, but tense with energy when he is. His codename is mostly for humor; he'll alternately go by "Tiger" or "Kat" when communicating through notes. Katuva prefers to work alone, tailing his marks from the periphery, relying on his abilities to stay out of registered view for extended periods of time. Because of his preference to stay hidden-- both on and off the job-- he dislikes areas with frequent crowds or large amounts of foot traffic.
Katuva has a very patient, determined nature and has been known to follow his targets' habits and routines for over a week in order to find the most effective time and place to strike. Despite the nature of his self-employment, Katuva has a very strong moral compass, and refuses to see innocents hurt; he will target politicians, other important human government agents, and the occasional Loyalist bodyguard, but will avoid attacking civilians of either species-- and, indeed, will sabotage raids from the Third Axiom in order to prevent most of the casualties. By no means would he consider himself a hero, but to him there's a fine (but very visible) line between political assassinations and murder.

History
Katuva was born to two members of the Second Axiom (a golden tiger father and a king cheetah mother), who were among the less violent of the faction's members and who raised Katuva with their ideals at heart. He was brought up with the belief that one side or the other didn't have to die, and could in fact be made to coexist peacefully if the humans' stranglehold on Demihuman society was just loosened to the point where Demihumans would regain their independence. This opinion was losing popularity among the Second Axiom's ranks, but Katuva's parents remained firm in these beliefs and in turn considered the more overzealous members of the Axiom to be "justified serial killers".
When Katuva was still a child, the Second Axiom fell. He and his parents lived in hiding from the proverbial fallout until, in his teenage years, they were captured by Loyalists who were rounding up what Second Axiom members still remained. Katuva was told to hide shortly before this, and the Loyalists thus did not realize that he even existed; because of this, he assumes both that his parents were aware they were being hunted and that they are now dead. From this point he was on his own, and fell into fending for himself with surprising ease. He knew that the Axiom would eventually rise with a third iteration, and so prepared to join them when it did.
However, the rise of the Third Axiom resulted in the faction being more violent than before, souring Katuva's hopes of joining and overall opinion of the Axiom. As a result, he stole a Catalyst (knowing enough to grab the colors he thought would help him most) and paid someone to perform a Synchronization for him, resulting in his current powers. He now spends much of his time scoping out both the Third Axiom and any human or Loyalist associated with the Vaults-- the latter to choose assassination targets for the purpose of destabilizing and undermining the hold the Vaults have on their scattered protectorates, and the former to minimize unnecessary civilian casualties from raids.
