Tbh im a bit of a sucker for tropes in stories, but mostly ones written with new interpretations?

did all!! i love awesome character dynamics, like either relationships that are well written into the story, either friends or more romantic relationships in stories and stuff!! that stuff is so fun!! oh, and little comedy aspects to the stories!! i also like when stories give me inspiration or small ideas for my characters stories AHADBH

i also LOVE horror and like eldritch stuff, especially when its like a sad story behind it all (kind of example: bloodborne)

What do I like on a story? I like good character development, primarily through character relationships/ interactions. Events always have a part to play, but I feel that it’s through characters interactions with each other that they develop more complex personalities. (What are your thoughts?)

Honestly, I love stories that have enemies to lovers in them-it's probably cliche but I don't care-

I love stories with unique characters, also I prefer fantasy or fantasy themes! Like dragons and such! Otherwise just stories which catch my eye and have interesting premises.

I love it when books are written in like. Third person, but still from the perspective of the main character, if that makes sense? Like the character themselves are writing it in the third person about themselves, where you can get a feel for the character based on how it's written. Like when the sentences get shorter to describe events the character can only remember flashes of, sudden jumps in time without much explanation when they pass out or something like that. Little details like that are things I love :]

faved and subbed ! what i love about stories is when they do amazing character development, because lots of stories forget people aren't the same 24-7 and its a bit annoying

I love it when a character(s) are so down to earth/out of theme(?) that it unsettles everyone, or a tiny naive character stands up for someone with a serious tone and is casually intimidating

Faved and subbed! In certain stories, I love long build ups that lead to a character snapping in a way the audience would not expect at all, yet makes sense in hindsight.

Something I love in stories is when there is dark fluff. Like 'I just kidnapped you but now I'm comforting you n all', just no dead dove content because omg.

I like when stories have more morally grey main characters! One of my favorite stories that I'm working on has main characters who all in some way mirror the villian! I just think its fun
