Becky N. Calle

Personality: Becky is a dedicated and chipper worker in the tavern her grandmother owns, even providing a good deal of the menu to help out. While she spends far more time indoors than she would like as a result, she finds it her duty to show her appreciation for being taken in.

Generally, Becky is polite and sweet to most of the people she meets. She fancies herself as a pretty easy person to get along with, and one of the most normal people in Iris Falls. That’s not an insult to everyone else, though. They make sure every day is never boring! Even when she’s stuck in the kitchen all day! 

A few times, though, that facade cracks and she seems rather distant and moody. Usually Granny Flo lets her out for a walk to get some fresh air and calm down, and sometimes she simply just exits the back door and slams a ladle into the nearest rock repeatedly until it becomes a useless piece of dented metal. You know how it is.

History: Becky was born to a mother who was just a little too unprepared to become a parent, along with a father who absolutely did not want to be. While she did spend some of her childhood in Cyan City being raised under a single mother, every summer she was dropped off at her grandparents’ house in Iris Falls. 

At Iris Falls Becky loved to explore the copious amounts of beautiful nature the place had to offer. The dangers of the beasts creeping within the woods were far enough reason to find herself in trouble multiple times, whether it was physically from monsters or simply being grounded by her terrified grandparents at home.

At around 9 years of age, her mother never came back to pick her up at summer’s end and it was discovered by her grandparents that the mother had moved places, impossible to reach. Becky finished schooling in Iris Falls. When Becky’s grandfather passed, Becky jumped up to help take care of the inn with her grandmother, and has been manning the front since.

Only recently has she reconnected with her apologetic mother, and Becky leaves Iris Falls every Sunday to meet up with her in Cyan City. It does seem like city life is rather busy though, and generally Becky will return late night on that Sunday with no successful meeting executed.
