Name Jeho

Age Four years

Gender Male (He/Him)

Orientation Heterosexual

Lover Eowyn

Rank Recruiter

Residence Rochambeau

APPEARANCE

It surprises most that Jeho was born with an umber pelt, and he wore it well. With darker shades along his back and on his tail, he could blend into his surroundings in an instant. Though, as he has aged, his fur has become dull and has greyed greatly. Now, as a father, he walks with taupe and khaki pigmented locks. His back and tail remain darker than the rest of his body, and his paws are shown as lighter. His eyes are genetically olive green, though at times they appear to be grey.

Jeho is a tall with higher than average fluff even during the summer months. He has long fur on his cheeks and neck, with moderately long fur on his back, rump, and elbows. He takes fairly well care of it. He stands tall and is a bit underweight but it's fairly unnoticable. As a young male he wore a great number of scars, but as he has aged they have been camouflaged into his fur.

  • Olive green eyes, sometimes appear grey
Personality

At a young age Jeho was known to be stubborn yet curious. He had many questions, but had the attention span of a walnut. His father's training shaped him into an attentive yearling with a keen eye and ear. He enjoyed tracking, and following a scent trail. He beamed at the praise he would recieve for a job well done. His mother was kind and she showered him with love, showing him an example of unconditional love. After his parents' death he became aggressive and unpredictable, desperate to pick a fight whenever he could. He was rebellious to say the least, but cares tremendously care about what others thought or said about him.

As an adult, Jeho still exhibits some of his youthful stubbornness. He values routine and familiarity and will avoid change like the plague. In an environment that he is not familiar with, he feels like a fish out of water. He tends to be more guarded than usual in those cases. Jeho is not very vibrant or charismatic at his age, appearing to be stoic and unwelcoming. But it's quite the opposite; he enjoys conversing with his packmates, especially the younger crowd. He has a big heart for young males that remind him of his youth-- or, he just desperately wants to be a father. He is a kind soul, yearning to be a father to the fatherless. He is outgoing and brave, and a bit more laidback than he was in his younger years. At times after a successful hunt, he feels like a child again. He loves providing for his loved ones and wants nothing more than to ensure their safety. He is empathetic and open with some, but moreso with those who confide in him, even his deepest enemies. He will honor and respect those who share their pains with him, for he has known many. Generally he is a kind soul, but it can be contorted with his brute honesty. Jeho seems stable for the most part but will absolutely crumble if he ever stood face to face with a bear. Truthfully he would do anything he could to make sure his family was safe, but he secretly suffers flashbacks of his family's demise under those big claws. He also has a mild fear of thunderstorms, also having PTSD from the war of Phoenix Moon.

Overall it may take some time to get Jeho to open himself up, but once you have earned his trust and respect you have a friend for life. Just make sure you keep everything how it is and don't make him pack up and move again.

History

Jeho was born of Talon and Ione. He had only one sibling, a sister named Rahab. He and his sister were inseparable from birth. They tussled, wandered, and grew to be best friends. At a young age Jeho learned the importance of a family bond. He was close with his parents, but favored his mother as Talon had an iron paw. His mother comforted him in the hard times, while his father would take him on over-night patrols with little to eat-- a lesson in endurance. Talon trained him to be strong and absolutely vehement against all odds. As much as Talon was a beast, Jeho respected him greatly. His upbringing was balanced, and he was raised into a wellrounded boy.

One day, Jeho and Talon were on their nightly patrol around their territory. Little did they know, a mother bear had been on her own patrol as well. They met and all hell broke loose. Jeho was merely a teenager, truthfuly useless against a mother bear. Talon had ordered Jeho to get help, so he did. He left Talon at the hands of the bear. Jeho had to wake his mother, who wasted no time to go to her mate's aid. Jeho went with, only to find his father unrecognizable. His mother wailed, and went after the bear too. This time, Jeho stayed and did all he could. Talon hadn't gone down without a fight and the bear was weak. He and Ione slained the bear, for a moment they were triumphent. But, with one last throw, the bear's claws slashed a deep wound into Ione's neck. She ultimately bled out, leaving Jeho surrounded by the blood that formed him.

His parent's death was hard on him and Rahab. Their bond was strong still, so they left their home den together. Jeho grew bitter and guarded as guilt permeated his young bones. He hated himself for the outcome. He vowed from that moment on that he would never be the cause for someone's death. He trained with Rahab, amongst other dispersals that they would stumble upon. His anger fueled his spars. As they grew into adults, he and Rahab were their own pack, a true dynamic duo. He became the muscle and Rahab became the brains. They robbed and fought with other predators and they grew to be distinguished in the lands. Everyone knew of J and R, for no one knew of their full names.

Jeho and Rahab thrived. They were strong, fed, and safe--for the most part. They ventured into a pack's territory, as they did often, and were met by a wolf named Atlas. Anyone could ask either sibling, but they would have no answer for how they found themselves joining Atlas's pack. Fate? A weakness? Soon enough they settled in Phoenix Moon. They were outsiders in this pack, but couldn't help but feel like a part of something bigger than themselves. Jeho settled in better than Rahab, for Jeho was reminded of his father's leadership. It was as if he craved the same thing he had lost a year earlier. He'd made friends, and became smitten to say the least over the Delta, Eowyn. Rahab was stuck in her ways, not having the same training as Jeho did as a pup. She was far more rebellious than a pack wolf should be, she fought often with the authority of Phoenix Moon. A few months into their new pack, Rahab was attacked by a bear at the river. Jeho, Atlas, and his friend Hanson, chased the bear off. He stayed with his sister as the water lapped at her cold body. The breath left her lungs, and Jeho was destroyed yet again. This death had Jeho a reculse for weeks. He pushed everyone away, even Eowyn, for he couldn't lose another loved one. Despite harsh words that he couldn't ever take back, Eowyn stayed to comfort him. He didn't realize it at the time, but without Eowyn he would be gone with the bear, too.

With time came healing, and with healing came new beginnings. Jeho was promotted to Beta of Phoenix Moon as well as the proud mate to Eowyn. Though, the duties of a Beta didn't come easy. Atlas also had a sister, who sent bears into the Phoenix Moon territory to exterminate the pack wolves. It was a great battle between Phoenix Moon and Jara's pack. It rained, a thunderstorm howling and crashing. Jeho fought, hoping his lover and sister in law were safe. As the sun rose, so did Phoenix Moon. The pack triumphed against all odds, but despite that, the pack dispersed. No one was able to go back to their normal lives after such a battle, including Atlas who had to slay his own blood. As wolves went their own ways, him and Eowyn stayed together and bonded through the hardship. Atlas was family to her, and Jeho was able to comfort her through the loss just as she did for him.

Not long into their search for a new home, they traveled to the land of Oasis and joining a pack named Rochambeau. The Alpha was a General, and the Betas were Captains. The transition was rough for him and Eowyn, being the new members in a militia-esque pack. They both missed their old lives, and wondered if this was the right thing to do, the right place to be. Still, they are unsure, but they were safe and together-- that's all they wanted.

Trivia
