Shelly

(ESTP-A) Shelly has an air of aloofness like no other. She has a tendency to be a bit unhinged around her friends, but has a very good skill of keeping calm, and having a cool head. This makes her very good as a manager at her retail job. Really, she doesn't let anything get to her because she can't take it seriously. It takes everything in her not to laugh in a customer's face if they're being irrational.

•    Shelly was born in the Splatlands and moved to Inkopolis in 2017 with his mother. Mostly due to the schooling, even though it's a bit more expensive in Inkopolis.
•   Public school in Inkopolis was wildly different than his experience with public school in the Splatlands. There was a lot of weird disconnects with his peers.
•   Recently moved out around 2022, but still visits frequently with his mother and they still support each other, despite living apart now.
•   Some time in 2019, he got a job at MakoMart and it didn't take long for him to get promoted to a manager position. This is not the type of stress a teenager should be dealing with, but he's managed just fine so far.
•   Has been in school for music and art since 2018 along with Soleil-- This is when they've decided to make music together.

  Shelly has been more focused on band things since Ayah joined around Chill Season 2023. She's still working her incredibly annoying retail manager job most of the time, but with a full group now, she's been slacking a bit on other responsibilities. With work and school both, this is taking a pretty big hit on her free time, but he's been trying to get a room mate so he's not stuck dealing with everything on his own with everything else going on too.

  Her biggest desire is to be able to get a decent sized place with Ayah, Soleil, and Clara, but it's pretty far off. She also hasn't mentioned this to any of them in fear of sounding weird about it. Not that any of them would think it's weird, and if money wasn't an issue, they'd probably all be for the idea.

   Met in 2017 during music class, and have been friends ever since. Once they'd both graduated from high school, they attended an institute specializing in music and arts. This is when they formed Bubble Buoy together.

   Met through Soleil, of course. She's definitely heard of Clara before meeting her, so she was pretty excited to finally be able to meet. Nicknamed Clara "Fangs" due to her beak points always sticking out.

    They both click with each other extremely well and share a similar vibe and sense of humor. Shelly probably spends most of her free time hanging out with Ayah more than the anyone else recently.

• Knows guitar AND drums. Sometimes he and Soleil switch up the lead vocals.
• Has a very wide register for his vocals, so he can sing in a deeper or higher pitch. He likes to use them super interchangeably.
• He smokes like a chimney. The rest of the band has been trying to get him to stop.
• Very questionable choice of home decor made from messed up craft projects. (Think like a babydoll head glued to a pinecone with chains as limbs or something. That type of thing. Scary!)
• Seems to have a nickname for everyone.
• He's dyslexic and he made the mistake of spelling his own band's name as "Bubble Bouy" instead of "Bubble Buoy" for like a year when it was just him and Soleil.
• Sandwich of choice: Just the sloppiest street food sandwich imaginable. Probably has like three different sauces slathered on.
• Surprisingly enough, his photophores don't light up super often like most firefly squids do. It's almost guaranteed when he's singing, though.
