Cato was born male. He was normally shorter then the rest of his species... Shy, reclusive, and usually by himself... He mostly preferred to be by himself not forming any relationships... That was until Abdo technically kidnapped him to get them off the planet...

After realizing that they were the last two of their species, Cato talked with Abdo and decided that he would give becoming a female a shot. After landing on the new planet in which they would call home, Abdo went out and searched for a couple of bodies for them to fuse their DNA with... He came back with two and they figured out which one was the female and which one was male.

After the gender change Cato felt more comfortable with herself... Though she still prefers to be inside and quiet. Cato would get nervous whenever Abdo would leave the ship / base and be out and about believing that they would not return due to an unfortunate event or because something happened... She does repairs on the ship as well as tinker and create. She doesn't cook (that is left up to Abdo) but prefers to stay inside...
