Summary

Evelin is an anxious, quiet woman. She was raised by her mother, who left her father when Evelin was very young. Because her parents separated, she was torn away from her older brother. Both of her parents weren't there for her often, her brother mostly raised her when she was young. With him gone, she heavily relied on her mother. Evelin's mother, Lady Red, was very neglective and manipulative. Evelin stayed with her mother till she was 22. While she was with her mother, she was forced to steal. Used to convince people to let her and her mother into homes, then stealing money from them and running away in the night. When she was 22, she ran away from her mother. She tried to survive on her own but fell into the old habits of theft. Evelin soon found her brother again and moved in with him, finally having a steady life. She looks back on her history of stealing and feels deep regret.

Personality

Evelin is a polite, yet stubborn woman. She avoids conflict over small things, but can still stand her ground if it's required in her situation. She has a strong opinion and spirit, but tends to crumble when she's around people she doesn't know. Evelin fears that she is turning into her mother, doing everything in her power to prevent it. She heaviy disikes being compared to her parents and would most likely turn away from a conversation if it was brought up.

Evelin has extreme social anxiety, avoiding large crowds whenever she can. Some of this is most likely caused by her past and her negative experiences with people she didnt trust. She becomes quiet in social settings and tries to hide away as best she can.

Evelin was a very excitable kid, and could never sit still. She was always happy and was very into nature. She spent most of her time exploring and looking at new types of bugs. Evelin was also extremely close with her brother, Silas, when she was young. She was almost inseparable from his side, and bothered him with all the new nature discoveries she made.

(Will add a more detailed summary later!) Evelin's mother stole from people and forced Evelin to stay with her. Evelin finally decided it was enough and ran away from her mother when she was 22.

While on her own, Evelin found life wasn’t what she thought it was. People were cruel to her, and refused to give her help with her financial situation. People looked down on her, and some chased her away when she tried to ask for help.

Evelin couldn’t turn back to her mother, so she decided the only way to keep herself alive was to use some of the same tactics. She fell into the same cycle for a year, she would ask to stay in people's homes and be with them for as long as they allowed, then usually leave peacefully and find another home to stay in. Many people gave her food and money when she left, to help support her, but it was more common for her to leave with nothing.

If she hadn’t eaten in a prolonged amount of time or if she was physically sick, she would, very rarely, steal food and other resources from people’s homes. This was usually a very small amount, but if they were struggling, raising children, would be in a difficult situation because of it or were in a financial situation she refused to take money or resources from them under any circumstances. Some days she found herself without food and water, sleeping underneath the trees for days on end.

When she turned 23, she found herself in Crescere.

I'm going to follow this untrustworthy stranger because he mentioned a festival. (She shouldn't be friends with this guy but he convinces her to trust him, she doesn't tell Silas though) I am so tired I will finish all of these backstory things later down the road congrats to anybody who reads this far (let me know if you did I am genuinely a little curious /hj)
