He has no bodily need for food or sustience, so he doesn't eat (thus no mouth) and because of such there's no digestion system in his body so he doesn't expell waste.
Rather impassive to everything and no, he can't speak, not even telepathically, but while being mute and deaf, this doesn't mean he can't understand others around him, he just prefers not to show interest.
