• His name was inspired from a song! Particularly this line, "Howling ghosts, they reappear in mountains that are stacked with fear," from King And Lionheart by Of Monsters and Men.

Adolescence

Bloody, battered, and exhausted, the young tom had been watched from afar when he used the last of his energy and strength to deal a fatal blow to the dog fox that attacked him. Dunescape Colony's leader, Ploverstar had rushed a warrior back to fetch the herbalist Toadflax. She summoned her knowledge of basic herbs and treatments for wounds, telling the rest of the patrol to gather what she needed as she wrapped herself around him to keep him warm.

The tom would wake up a few days later, finding himself in a den and a deep exhaustion felt in his bones. Upon the colony leader finding him awake, she questioned him. Simple questions that should've been easy to answer, yet he had no response other than he didn't know. Ploverstar decided to call him Ghost, as his pale coat resembled such.

Ghost found himself assimilating into colony life, and it had been annouced and officialized in a ceremony that he would be apprenticed to Wolfspur.
