The cursed hat is said to be an item of magick,
being able to make a magician out of anyone who will wear it.
It is now locked away under, safely and securely, within the deepest depths of the university.
However, there is the tale of the last wearer, a Fooling, absolutely normal in body and mind, who wanted nothing more to become a real sorcerer.
They found the hat by accident, and made it their own in a moment's breath.
But the hat was magic, cursed, alive.
They twisted the young Foos body, making them a creature of magic indeed.
Long body. Mand limbs. A tail devoid of fur, but covered in brilliant scales.
Enraptured by the magic, they put in their own two pet rabbits. And out they both came with wings, one feathered, one like a bat's.
They went on shows with his critters and odd hat, brought the masses together to applaud their skills and talent.
No one knows what happened to them, now that their hat turned up at the university, one day, with a note telling to beware its powers.
We can only hope that they got sick of that showbusiness life and found their place somewhere, where they feel home.
