Rocky

Rocky grew up a quiet kid, obediant and favored for it. Gave respect, regardless of who it was for, the praise he was rewarded for it was what he loved the most. When learning he was receiving a younger brother, at first; he saw competition. However, his parents encouraged him to be a good role model and set his new brother, Pebble, on the right path. He had never disappointed them, he couldn't, not now. He took it as an honor to be so responsible, he'd never thought he'd end up choosing one day between his parent's respect and approval of him, or his own sibling fighting against them.

His devotion to keeping his well-respected reputation with his parents soon began to feel more like a burden than an act of love. Rocky found himself distanced from the cat he loved and cared for so much, and he couldn't help but blame himself for it all. He felt as if he were loving the wrong people, but he hated having to choose. The older he got, he slowly began to shun his family in an attempt to escape their harsh looks and expecting glances. He never stops wondering what his brother is up to or what he has accomplished, but he is too afraid of receiving a hateful look to ask.
