“Momas. My ally! My friend. Even I cannot ignore the things you have done for my sake. I’ll rip the eyes out if anyone who bothers you.”
“Shesoq, I hope-hope that your hunts continue to go well-well. I can see-see that your scars have healed just fine too, yes-yes. Try-try not to get into too many fights.”
“Now, you look delicious in more ways than one.” Shesoq chuckled menacingly and licked his chops. He noticed the cloth in her hands and what she had placed in them. He leaned over and gave it a quick sniff. “How deadly. I will gladly put these to use; but tell me…does it ruin the meat?”
"I respect an apex predator. They are correct to fear you." She smiles at him with a knowing gaze, recognizing that they are more alike than most would guess. She releases some of her poison tipped spines from her body and carefully places them in a cloth, handing them to Shesoq. "If anyone dares to attempt to harm you again, use these."
Shesoq’s ears twitched at her words. “Fear me? I make sure of it. Haaa… So the little rabbit has dealt with humans? What nasty business. I can see now that you are like me — no longer the prey, but the predator. Haha! I think I may spare you just this once.”
She stares Shesoq down as he corners her against a tree, clearly intent on hunting her down. Seulki chuckles and snaps her fingers, bending the tree to her will and creating a chair for herself. "I remember when I was like you. My childhood taught me something very important. You cannot trust humans, they must be taught to fear you."
Shesoq felt himself relax around this imposing woman. His instincts told him one thing: she could be trusted, and that was not something he would ignore. “You know full well why I bear these scars, and the ones responsible. None will be spared until my appetite is sated.”
She notices the man's scars and frowns, realizing that these wounds run much deeper than they appear. "Who did this to you? We will make them pay." She clenches her hand in a fist and feels her blood boil.
“Look at you shake.” Shesoq sniffed once. “That fear, the scent of it! It only makes my mouth water. Do you really not taste good, little morsel? Perhaps one bite will help me be the judge of that!”
He lets out a shriek as he steps on a twig and turns around to see Shesoq staring him down. "Woah, woah, woah! Look, I'm not very tasty. Like at all, not at all! You really wouldn't enjoy eating me." He sees the man's pointed teeth and feels his heart drop, fearing that this might be the end for him. He knew there was something up with this job offer...
"Don't you look big and juicy? And your scent, so much like the salt of the sea. Might be a thrill to hunt someone nearly my size. What do you say, fishy? Let me get a chomp in!"
"I don't know whether to be turned on or scared, maybe both?" He laughed "If you want a spar, I'll give it to ya! I warn ya though, you're not the only one with sharp teeth here"
“What are you doing?!” Shesoq was completely taken aback by her actions, her fearlessness, her pinkness. Though, he was finding himself pleased with her scratches. He couldn’t help it. “Huh… Huh, what? Where did you say that was?”
"You. Are. ADORABLE!" She practically jumps off the ground in excitement as her tail swishes about happily, she rushes up to Shesoq without any fear and begins to brush through the fur on his head gently. "You know, you should come to Zaun! I bet there's some Pilties that you could feast on!"
“You’re Momas’ boy from what I know. You look a lot like him anyway. Lucky you, I have no plans to sink my teeth into you thanks to him.”
Shuoma was wary of Shesoq for fair reasons, but he was relieved to be spared from his fury. “Uncle Momas spoke good-good of you. I’m glad that you treat him so-so well.”
"Hmmmm." Shesoq lowered himself, his tail swishing as he sniffed the air around the strange woman. He did not admit it, but there was something soothing about this one. He almost felt secure; and his instincts were telling him to behave. "You look more appetizing than your scent is. Heheh... You may be lucky enough this time, web-eyes. You can pass, but only because I'm not that hungry. Don't you forget that."
"We need not fight, Shesoq. We are more alike than we are different. I request that you grant me safe passage through your lands, in return I swear to protect you to the best of my ability." The Mourning Spider bows her head in respect, her gaze unblinking. All eight of her eyes staring at Shesoq.
“Atalos, your strength frustrates me. I may have lost again this time, but soon, no matter how long it takes, you WILL be my prey!”
“Nice try again, Shesoq, but you know that you can’t defeat me. Leave these people alone. If I catch you hunting them again, you can kiss your big pointy nose goodbye.”
“I can smell you. I can smell ALL of you. My mouth is watering with the thought of tearing your tender flesh from bone; and when I’m done with you…” Shesoq licked his chops, “… I’ll be hunting the rest of THEM.”
“No… No. I always trust my instincts. I’m not going near that creature…”
“My, what a sizeable creature. I think it may do well in the ring. Could it be negotiated with?”
“Both look to be simple meals. The girl has soft, easy to tear skin; and her little serpent? Snack-sized.” Shesoq laughed to himself. “Although, my instincts do tell me of such strange things, all from them. Maybe I ought to investigate further before taking a bite…”
"We love this guy! Well, I should say that I love him. Never did I think that I would find dismembering people to be such a cool thing! I really have changed ever since I left home..." Dhaval slithers around Anjali's arm anxiously. "I think he might have an interest in eating me... How bothersome!" Anjali chuckles and boops the cobra on the nose. "Oh please, I think he's a man of refined taste! Your meat is far too tough for him. Not to mention he'd have to peel your skin off, very inconvenient."
“You carry the scent of iron and death. I can’t help but crinkle my nose to such a stench. You don’t look like you have any meat; but I wonder if my fangs could still tear you to pieces…”
"A brute such as this one... Perhaps he can be of use after all, I'll let lord Mordekaiser decide. If not I could always keep him to myself, the raw power this one posseses... could come in handy someday"
“His hatred is in the right place. He has more restraint than I do, which I find to be his greatest flaw. I don’t care that much, though. I think he would still make a great feast.”
"He is a hunter worthy of being placed in the same caliber as me. I like his attitude. Shesoq's claws are ferocious and tipped with blood, I admire his skills."
"Momas is your only saving grace right now, you bleeding slab of meat."
"Hm, you may be threatening and scary but you're nothing compared to Valhir. Now put the claws away and drop the theatrics, I'm just here to deliver a present from Momas"
“You’re a morsel just waiting to be hunted. Step into my jungle and you’ll be my next meal.”
"No thank you! But I can pick you something up, like... do you want some chicken nuggets? A 10 piece maybe?"
“A plant that hunts? I’m impressed. She is fortunate that I’m not one to munch on vegetation.”
"This one is like us. We are both predators, we have both savored the flesh of man. We... No, I will ensure his protection. A killer of man is an ally to the Mayari."
“Ha! Empty threats. I beat you once, and I’ll beat you again. You may not be a suitable meal, but I’ll enjoy taking you down.”
"If you try that same shit you did when we first 'met', don't be surprised if I crack your skull in twain. Doubly so if you try anything on Atalos."
"It's MY territory, so it's MY meat. He'll have to come and fight me for it."
"Admirable fighting spirit, but it'd be NICE if he stopped killing everyone in the jungle that heads towards my territory. I gotta eat too, asshole!"
"Horrible witch. You and Atalos continue to deter prey away from my territory. You may threaten me as much as you like, but one day you will find out just how quick I am. You will be sorry...."
"Shesoq, you unreasonable beast. You're lucky that I give you these chances, you know. I don't think you realize that one day I am going to sink my fangs so deeply into your flesh that my venom will reach your marrow. What is a hunter if he is too paralyzed to hunt? Or dead. Which one do you prefer?"
“Your leaves and flowers don’t intimidate me, plant man. First opportunity I have, you’ll be my dinner.”
"Yeah, yeah. Bones go crunch. I fear Hafera more than I fear him cause at least he's upfront about his nature. I've left him a couple bouquets at the foot of his mountain once or twice, just to let him know he's respected. If I die at his hands, then clearly I deserved it."
