Kind of a Miraculous OC.
By night Rino is the local superhero.
Ever charming and a strong will to protect, the masked and caped hero patrols the streets in search of people to help. Be it saving someone from true danger caused by his former rival to helping intoxicated people return home safely.
Doing this for many, many years and finally taking his previous rival down for good, he had been taking nights fairly easily until the new supervillain of the season popped up. Although, this seems to have now devolved from hero vs villain to heckling, waving cane adult vs rowdy, loud kid.
In the beginning, he often accused his new rival at encroaching on his theming.
He is getting too old for this.
By day Rino works as a professor in a local college.
Having high standards for himself, he’s taken on a lot of work and responsibilities. After an incident during his night job that landed him a week of bed rest, he reluctantly agreed to take on an assistant. Luckily for him, one of his favorite former students, due to his work ethic (don’t tell his other students) was job hunting in his place of work, and he hired him to help.
Rino, concerned, that his assistant is taking too much work on, frequently reminds him that taking breaks is good (advice he should use himself more often), and ‘accidentally’ ordering the wrong coffee and giving it to his assistant because He didn’t want it to got waste.
