Ginger

Ginger is a kindhearted person that tries their best to be encouraging, loving, and supportive. They enjoy taking care of people, like a parent, but they're also a tad unpredictable in that they seem very mellow, mature, and sweet, but they have a sarcastic, sometimes immature sense of humor and love of mischief.

They are oblivious to people flirting with them unless it's explicity stated, assuming most people are either just being nice or joking around. Even physical intimacy is typically misconstrued as platonic rather than romantic or sensual, possibly due to Ginger being so used to physically comforting people who need it.

Ginger is very hardworking, and while they appreciate help and try to be mindful of their own health, they don't like to force people to help them. They also feel antsy if they don't do something useful for too long.

Otherwise, they are quite carefree. It's difficult to get on their bad side; they try to be understanding of why people act the way they do, so they can try to help them improve, instead of getting upset with people.

Ginger's mother and father were overprotective and very patronizing. They worked hard to impress their parents, with perfect grades, homecare skills (cooking, cleaning, etc), perfect health, and by being as polite and charming as possible. They needed their parents to understand they were capable of taking care of themself and didn't need to be treated like a child forever. However, nothing worked, and after high school they ran away to live with their grandmothers in the countryside. They run a bed and breakfast with their grandmothers, as well as helping out on their farm.
