- Shirota loves reading books, especially fantasy and romance. He has a large collection of books in his apartment, and he often reads them late at night.
- He is allergic to cats, so he settled for ferrets as pets. Sometimes you'll catch Shirota watching videos of cat vines to replace the feeling of having a pet one, which he hates to admit.
- Shirota plays the guitar as a hobby. He learned to play by himself when he was twelve, thinking it would be nice to learn. He's able to play songs by ear, and sometimes composes his own music, yet he rarely shares this skill with anyone..
