Oleander

Two proud parents were stood looking rather puzzled at the sight before them. Had they not gone to bed? Had they not fallen asleep? This was a dream then? But they have never had such a dream before. Both of them looking around themselves puzzled by the endless expanse of golden sand that was as endless as an ocean. The apex startled and gave a low growl, startled to suddenly see a strange golden female, blindfolded hovering over the sleeping form of their pup, their mate moving to join them in defense of the tiny creature, but the Sandman only put up her hand, stilling their anger as she scooped the slumbering pup up, looking it over carefully. Glittering sand swirled about the both of them, before a symbol settled above the pups forehead in the form of wings. "Be still... Your pup is blessed." she informed the parents before her, moving towards them, less walking and rather gliding. "They will rise, higher in higher in all that they wish to achieve. They only need the motivation to do so. Should they put their mind to it, they will rise, and succeed in it... A worthy pup." she informed, handing the child the back to its parents, before the dream all bit disappeared. When the parents woke, they would find glittering golden sand surrounding their pup...
