Detector: A bizarre Quirk that more or less allows Akiara to “scan” for a metal’s properties. She can also ingest metals which has the same effect, but this method can provide her with much more information, and an advantage. She can either pour out a liquid version of any metal from her body, or coat parts of herself with the metals after ingesting enough metal. This creates a temporary protective thin coat with it, but it is not viable unless she makes multiple coats, which would require her to be in direct contact with it, or ingest large amounts of metals depending on how much she wanted to cover up. Her tinkering has allowed her to create some wristbands that store metal, but it requires her to have them attached to a backpack or close by storage tanks to use. They are primarily used in her crafting of gear. Although she has some combat training with her Quirk, she sees herself as someone who is far too proper to fight.

Drawbacks: It can cause her to temporarily lose her sense of taste (everything tastes like iron), or cry and sweat metal, which she absolutely abhors due to how messy it can be. When it gets to the point where she cries or sweats liquid metal, she has no control over it, and will have to wait for her body to filter out the excess amounts until it at last stops. She can also end up being unable to eat normal food if she does this for an extended amount of time, requiring her to re-acclimate her stomach to normal foods. The metal can “stain” her hair, as well! That’s the absolute worst! The more mixed material there is within the metal, the more trouble she will have detecting its properties, and the less she will be able to manipulate it.
