A Lilidae whose wings never allowed her flight, so she took to the sea instead. Finding many wonders amidst the waters, she became infatuated with marine life and set her sights on uniting those who lived below with those who lived above. Though she's seen as their 'Princess', she doesn't often use the title around those above ground.
Personality.
FREE-SPIRITED / NAIVEKailani is fairly gentle and loving, albeit mysterious. She seems to always be running through many thoughts and ideas in her head, which leads to her sometimes being inattentive or forgetful. She's someone with many dreams she hopes to achieve, though she's never really been sure where to start.

She also uses her experiences to teach others about marine life, as well as motivation to learn more about it herself. She never stays in one place for more than a week, as she desires to see everything this world has to offer.

Lilidae of the Sea.
Born with a weak constitution, since her childhood Kailani struggled with flight. Whenever she attempted to take to the air, she found herself tumbling to the ground seconds later, her wings unable to navigate the winds. While her Mother had been the one to suggest practicing flying in water, she hadn't expected how much her daughter would take to swimming. In fact, it felt as if Kai was born to swim in the waters below rather than fly in the skies above. Seeing her growing passion for the sea, Kailani one day was told to set off and explore the oceans for herself, hoping she'd find her home and comfort where usual Lilidae habitats couldn't.
Princess Jellyfish.
It came as a surprise to her, but she found out she could commune with the creatures of the sea! Being the gentle, protective person she was, she eventually found her family underwater, and came to learn the laws of the land in the ocean. Living in the Kingdom of the Sea, she was considered an otherworldly princess to them due to her ability to communicate with the ones above, and she realized her first goal in life: To unite the people of the sea and sky. To do this, though, she'd have to meet many people, and unite them in her cause... Which would lead her to leaving her home once more, setting off to explore more of these lands and understand what her people want.

Despite her weak strength and constitution, Kailani is built to be able to swim with ease and can navigate harsh waters much quicker than the average person. She's unmatched when underwater.
Water-breathing
Blessed with the ability to breathe underwater. She can survive for as long as she needs without a breath of air as her body naturally separates the oxygen from the water around her.
Nontraditional
Her upbringing is far from the norm of most Lilidae, and so she could be considered sheltered compared to the rest of her species. She hasn't interacted with her kind, and would struggle knowing who is friend or foe.
