About

Laid back • Stubborn • Hot Headed • Impulsive • Empathetic • Kind • Free Spirited • Loyal

Vale is my fursona within my Fleeting Moments Headworld, a modern setting mixed with a ton of fantastical elements as well as creatures, the supernatural, its own myths and folklore. They are a wanderer that goes wherever the wind and sense of adventure leads them. Throughout their journey, they have gotten the title "Conqueror of Demons", due to dispelling the evils they have come across.

Why have a separate fantasy themed fursona? Just because it's fun really! I love writing in my free time, especially fantasy, so to me it was more of a no-brainer to have such a character at some point. Plus it's really fun to imagine yourself in such a world, be it as a hero, villain or just common folk. While Vale's title may seem like a big deal, it really isn't, as all sorts of adventurers in this world earn themselves many as such titles through good and bad deeds alike.

Summary

Vale grew up in a small, countryside village, far away from any of the big cities. One would assume it's a place for a close community where everyone supports everyone. A place where you have strangers and neighbors treat you like family. Yet for Vale, it was quite the opposite. A family that disapproved of their interests, trying to push them towards more "useful" hobbies and a very specific lifestyle, due to their gender at birth. Scoldings for every little mistake while good deeds were never praised but seen as "expected". Daily bullying by their peers. The only light in the darkness for Vale was their grandfather. A kind man of faith, always looking out for his grandchild.

One day their grandfather got very sick, eventually passing on due to an incurable disease, severing the last tie that Vale had to their "home". The night after his burial, Vale left, never saying goodbye to anyone. Due to their lack of knowledge of the outside world, they quickly ran into dangerous situations, which they barely escaped. After just a few days of traveling, they collapsed in the middle of nowhere. Hunger, thirst, a bruised body, they sure thought it was the end. However, fate had other plans, as when Vale woke up, they found themselves tended to by a party of colorful adventurers.

The leader of the group, an ex-soldier from the far east proposed that Vale should travel with them, at least for a while, something Vale only reluctantly accepted. It took some time to open up, but bit by bit Vale realized these people really just wanted to look out for them. The leader taught Vale how to wield a sword and become more proficient in the art of swordsmanship. The cleric and wizard taught Vale about the basics of magic, while the ranger taught her survival skills. Their journey together came to an end when they reached the main capital, but it left a deep impression on Vale, inspiring them to become an adventurer themself, training and honing their skills to be able to help others like the group did for Vale and all the other people they met during their journey.
