Pessimistic, perfectionist and stoic. He’s the complete opposite of his sister Odette. It is hard to tell what he’s thinking since he hardly expresses any type of emotion and keeps his voice monotone. When it comes to judging souls or creatures he’s very strict with following the rules and his beliefs. It’s nearly impossible to get him to change his mind about a judgement. He is always skeptical of angels, good people and when people do good deeds for him since he thinks they have an ulterior motives or are putting up a fake act.

He and his sister are grim reapers. Grim reapers are supernatural beings that go around executing mortals, unrest souls, demons and sometimes angels in order to maintain balance in the living and spiritual world. Unlike most supernatural beings they didn’t have a mortal life, they’re suddenly snapped into existence knowing they have a purpose and how to do it. Mortals can’t see them, only the dead and other supernatural beings can.

Otto encountered a variety of people exposing him to the good and bad of humanity while doing his duty. Him killing people that should’ve been spared, people tricking him into letting them live and are some of the decisions, regrets and people helped shape how he is now and why he acts as he does. He’s developed a strong, accurate 6th sense to tell if a person is good, evil, telling the truth or lying. When he’s not hunting for people he checks up on his sister to make sure she’s doing her job and secretly executing people she spared he thinks deserves to die.
