Name Origin

Sun + shard, a combination of words that sounded nice together. Shard also refers to their hobby of collecting objects. I put together a list of around 20 names for them I liked and chose the one I liked best.

Bio
-
They live in the desert, in an elevated cave in a rock formation. They collect things and store them in their cave as a nest, things like sea glass, pinecones, colorful trash, anything that catches their eye. They watch over the desert and its respective ecosystem. They can do a rain dance to summon rain at will; in addition, they also have a sun dance to summon the sun as well. They like to travel and migrate to faraway places, always nesting in elevated places, and their nests out of found objects. Some places they like to visit are the mountains, the forest, coastal areas, even volcanic areas.
