The big brother figure to Atom even though he doesn’t seem enthused about it.

Was attacked by a wild demon (Silas) while protecting his owner, causing his eye being torn out. His previous owner now appalled by his torn up appearance, got rid of him by selling him to anyone who wanted him. Roman has bad trust issues now with both humans and other smile demons. His new owner is now working on that by slowing gaining trust, and brought Atom into the family hoping they will get along.

Atoms eye patterns freaks Roman out sometimes because it reminds him of Silas
