by ordering a commission by me, cuttlekiss, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to follow the terms of service on this page. failure to abide by these terms may result in rejected or cancelled commission with or without a refund. failure to abide by these terms may also result in blacklisting and/or a psa about our encounter.
terms of service are subject to change as i, cuttlekiss, see fit with or without prior notice.
terms of service is active as of 11.2.2023.

payment is accepted through paypal or ko-fi.
payment must be received in USD.
after your order has been accepted, half of payment is required upfront. i will not begin your commission until this payment has been successful.
after i have confirmed that your commission has been completed, the rest of the payment must be paid in full. you will not received the finished art piece until payment has been completed successfully.
refunds are only considered and may be requested if i am unable to finish the order or if you cancel the order before i begin working. if you cancel your order after i have begun my work, a refund will not be issued and you will receive the work as it is at that point.

art commissioned by me should be for personal use only. this art should not be used for ai, nft, or any form of commercial use.
when sharing art through your account, please ensure that i am creditted through @ or by sharing a link.
do not remove my watermark from the artwork. most likely, my watermark is small and out of the way.

there should be thorough and open communication while i am working on your commission.
i will send work in progress images in stages. please read below for thorough explanation of each stage.
stage one // i will send a rough sketch of pose, perspective, expression, etc., etc.. this sketch is completely open to changes.
stage two // once you have confirmed the stage one sketch, i will send a sketch of your character with the above guidelines. this sketch is completely open to changes.
stage three // once you have confirmed the stage two sketch, i will begin lineart and base colors (no shading). this may have small changes and corrections.
stage four // once stage three is complete, no changes may be made. you will have received three chances to voice your requests. stage four is the final product.

Designs obtained via TRADES may not be resold but can be traded.

Designs obtained via SALES may not be sold for more than their base value + commissioned art value.
