Ares likes to spend his free time taking care of his rather large garden. He has worked hard ever since he was a teen to save money, to buy land as soon as he could. His garden is covered with plants, paths and decorations of all sort that he tends to and spends time in daily. It's his greatest treasure. Throughout his three years of owning this garden, he has sketched out many plants into his old and well kept sketchbook.

He works as a gardener in a castle near Feather Cove, so he is surrounded by plant life in all parts of his day and he loves every bit of it. Although his work requires some shape or form of socialising, he still manages to keep to himself most of the time. He's very quiet, shy and introverted in nature and never had many, if any friends. Even so, if he gets the chance to talk to someone about his hobbies or listen to theirs, he's eager to partake in conversations.

Regardless of his shyness, he always welcomes any potential visitors to his garden. He reaches for any chance to show off his dearest work and share his passion.

Kit to Adulthood

Ares was born during an eclipse that scorched his homeland, Wartorn Wastes, in blood red, reflecting on his markings which turned them red. This celestial event caused him to be interested in the moon and science since he was very young, and he quickly became a very smart, fast to learn kit. He has never been succesful with friends and spent most of his childhood alone, wandering the beach-side cliffs, sketching ruins in his sketchbook. He also developed love for art early on, as it fed his imagination.

At around 6 years old, his parents brought him through the wastelands towards the only remaining spark of life in Wartorn Wastes; a greenhouse, a look to how life was before war. The second Ares stepped his little paws in the building, his eyes were filled with wonder. Large, bright green trees towered above him with vines stretching across the ceiling, letting only a few rays of light through. Flowers of all sizes and color filled the room with wonderful smells, their color reflecting through the light causing a serene atmosphere. Many species of bugs wandered around freely; butterflies, mantises, even ants. As Ares was looking around in awe, a cecropian moth landed on his nose. His eyes sparkled, he has found his passion. Ever since that day he has been working hard in school, when he was older he also worked simple jobs to earn money, all to reach his newfound goal: acquiring a gardening scholarship. Then one day, at the age of 16, he had received a letter, he got accepted for the scholarship! He soon moved to the school, located where Northern, Western and Southern floral fields meet - a flower wonderland.

School Life

While he shared a dorm room with another Kebanzu that shared his interests, the two never connected. Due to this, Ares spent all his time in school alone, except for the occasional group homework or assignment. He never got along with his roommate, mostly due to him distancing himself and not caring to make friends. Regardless of his social life, he worked very hard in school. He tediously studied for every test, did every homework with precision and no mistakes, he even kept all his notes organised and pretty as with all his sketchbooks. His two school years provided all the students with monthly income, allowing him to save money for a future property. The school also had trips often to different areas of the world, exploring and learning plantlife all over. After school has ended, he graduated at the top of his class, which granted him many job opportunities. One of these chances came in a form of a rare invitation from a royal family to work at a castle near Feather Cove. Ares accepted this offer without a second thought and soon after gratuating he moved to the castle grounds.
