Siobhán's Links
Siobhán loves her brother dearly, finding spending time with him as easy as breathing. She feels at ease with him, though she often worries for his health, both physical and mental, which can lead to her being a bit overbearing towards him at times. She adores Daíthí, and the two are thick as thieves, though that doesn't mean they are immune to sibling teasing and competition.
Thank god for Siobhán because without her, Daíthí probably couldn’t function at the Cavanagh family gatherings each year. She keeps him grounded and for that he is thankful, even if it doesn’t work all the time. He’s incredibly protective of her.
Siobhán doesn't know why she stays with Eddie-- or what compelled her to go out with him in the first place. Perhaps some craving for familiar instability after having the 'normal' adult life she wanted so badly, or the fact that she didn't think she deserved better than someone who gives her anxiety and puts her in danger often. She used to enjoy the adrenaline rush of the fast-paced life he lives, she knows that for certain. Siobhán cares for Eddie, and might even love him, deep down. However, she isn't sure how long she can make excuses for his behaviour.
