THIADRADA, DAUGHTER OF THE MOON

DISORIENTATED • GOOD-NATURED • UNINTENTIONALLY SELF-FOCUSED

Occupation - Demi-goddess of the Moon, forgotten to time after having been tricked into a thousand year slumber by the trickster god. Her entire following is long gone, and now she is just another magically gifted creature with no known divine status.

Personality - During her prime, Thiadrada was, like most gods, self-centered and expectant of mortals to bow at her feet and provide her with gifts. Despite this, she did always uphold her side of the exchange. In the present day, Thiadrada is incredibly disorientated, not understanding the culture of modern times. She has no idea where her followers have gone, and is confused to find that the currently living mortals do not know who she is. Thiadrada becomes humbled by this, and becomes incredibly inquisitive of mortal life whilst trying to find a way to use her divine gifts for good.

PHYSICAL INFORMATION

Height - Approximately 7'5"

Build - Thin, slim, and graceful upper build, but stronger bottom half.

Strength - Physically Thiadrada is rather weak, but her arcane magic is quite powerful.

Physical Abilities - Being a divine descendant of the Moon goddess, Thiadrada has a small amount of her power, being able to manipulate the energy of moonlight. This moonlight can be pulled apart and woven into healings, which can typically alleviate most physical injuries. These powers cannot prevent death, but are much stronger than that of mortal healers.

BRIEF OVERVIEW

Thiadrada is one of the many demi-gods of the Aestoran Divinities, the divine creatures who created and overlooked the wild realm of Aestorah, before their disappearance. Thiadrada has the ability to manipulate moonlight, pulling apart its rays and weaving them back together to provide blessings of protection, and heal wounds. Thousands of years ago, a large following of elves built a beautiful marble temple for the demi-goddess Thiadrada, in hopes she would descend from the divine heavens and provide her gift to them. Impressed by their piety and devotion, Thiadrada chose to permanently inhabit the temple, and blessed her followers with her healing powers and protection. The elves honoured Thiadrada with a wealth of silver goods and jewels, which the goddess still wears upon her antlers and body, and dedicated much of their time to her. The stone in Thiadrada’s staff is a Tear of Lunaris, directly shed by the moon goddess herself and harbouring a small inch of her power. Thiadrada calls upon this precious stone to empower her healings and increase their benefits. This isn’t her only source of power however, as her body courses with a small amount of celestial energy, hence why the white constellations dance across her skin. When using her power to heal, these stars glow much brighter than usual, and her horn radiates a strong blue light.

Thiadrada is still recovering from being a lovingly worshipped goddess to a forgotten figure of the long past. She still catches herself expecting mortals to bow at her feet for her blessing, and can barely fathom this new world where the gods are no longer present. She still clings to aspects of her past, decorating her antlers and body with the silver charms, jewels and accessories offered to her altar by her followers.

In the present day, Thiadrada is encountered by a band of youthful misfits. The enchantress of the group, Hilda, surprisingly recognised Thiadrada’s divine status, as she had spent years trying to learn all of Aestorah’s forgotten divine history. Due to this, Thiadrada granted the group her blessing, and offered her abilities if they ever needed her. Thiadrada eventually finds herself fighting (or rather, healing) alongside the group of adventurers and all the other heroes of the realm, during the great war against the god of death, Khamael.
