Youth
Charms grew up with a boring, isloated, and uneventful childhood in the Deepsea area. He didn't get much interaction with other inklings/octolings, and spent his time growing up alongside the denziens of the deep; lacking the ability to communicate with them due to their difference in species. Finally, after becoming being sentient enough to make his choice, he's easily able to slip out and make his way unscathed and unnoticed to the surface.
Early/Mid Teens
Charms emerges to Inkopolis, clueless and unsure of what to do with himself. Eventually landing a job at Grizzco as a general attendant. (The only place that'll take him, either because of his uncharted species or poor work ethic) He works things like egg count, employee numbers, current on-site employees and shift dates, among other boring tasks like front desk and booth work.
Young Adult/Current
He is eventually transferred to Splatsville for work when a new location opens, where he quits and joins up with 3 other inkfish to become a battling team. Charms has now settled into his life in Splatsville, now spending most of his time with his friends/team or staying at home avoiding everyone he isn't fond of; One thing he never grows out of is his soft spot for having a place alone, much like the conditions he'd grown adjusted to in the Deepsea.
