Scallion - Boyfriend. Akula set her sights on him at the World Tournament and eventually won him over. They argue a lot, but they seem happy...
Bambi and Tarale - Friends. Though they initially met when Akula tried to steal from them, they've since become good friends. She likes to meddle in their relationship.

Personality

Akula always acts flirty, confident, and eager to take charge of social situations. She'll often put on a sweet and innocent face to attract men, but she's not dumb. She's more than happy to show off her knowledge by giving relationship advice (though it doesn't always work out...)
Behind her sociable persona, Akula is highly driven and aggressive. When she sets a goal for herself, she won't give up on it, even past the point of hurting herself. She also has quite a temper when plans don't go her way.

Story

Akula lived a fairly well-off life into her late teens, but in early adulthood a traumatic (and currently vague we haven't fleshed it out yet-) accident occurred, resulting in the loss of her left eye. Akula couldn't stand this, and did everything she could to cover it up. But she discovered a potential way to get her eye back when a boyfriend showed her one of the seven Dragon Balls (which she promptly stole)
She continued to hunt down the others, leading her to meet Tarale and Bambi. She pretended to take a liking to Tarale, attaching herself to him in an attempt to steal his Dragon Ball. But her plans were ruined by both his obliviousness and Bambi's jealousy. And so she ended up breaking down in anger and revealing herself.
But rather than taking revenge on her, Tarale volunteered to help her by collecting the Balls for her. So Akula eventually did get her eye back (albeit keeping her scar) and the three have remained close friends since. She's always happy to try and help them in their relationship or to take them out whenever they visit her city.
