Aubree was always sort of a weird kid, having bizarre interests and a rather gloomy personality. Other pokemon would ostracize her, calling her a witch, but she wasn't the type to pay any mind to bullies and instead learned to embrace the title. Though she was distant from most of the pokemon in her village, she harbored a bit of a crush on a peppy young eevee, one who had always been kind to her despite their contrasting personalities.
One day, Aubree noticed a group of bullies had challenged her crush, who wasn't known for being a particularly strong pokemon, to a battle. Feeling bold, Aubree stepped in to defend them; however, in the process of pummelling the bullies, she evolved into a sylveon. The bullies found it hilarious that the "witch" had evolved into a fairy type pokemon known for being affectionate, and Aubree, humiliated, fled the scene. After evolving, she avoided being seen in public and hid in the comfort of her home on most days. She began studying spells and dark magic, wondering if the process of evolution could be reversed... With years of dark magic under her sleeve, Aubree pieced together a spell with the intent of turning herself back into an eevee. She eagerly tried it out, but to no one's surpise, it went terribly wrong and may have ended with her releasing some kind of malicious spirit from another realm. Oops. Following the failed attempt, she held off on trying again, knowing there could be dangerous consequences. Since then Aubree's chosen to quit dwelling on the past and instead learn to appreciate her fairy-typing. Having cute charm as an ability isn't so bad after all! |
