Jedidiah was born and raised in the United States. Jedidiah's family, the Zhangs, have always been scientific academics. From an early age, Jedidiah's parents decided he would specialise in bioengineering, and set him on the path to one day work at Tianqiao Biologics like most of his other relatives. Tianqiao Biologics is one of the world's best biotechnology research labs and has a long history with the Phoenix Guild, who has been one of its major shareholders since its establishment.
Jedidah was extremely gifted, and received his doctorate from Standford University at the age of 25. He was immediately placed in Tianqiao Biologics and has worked with them since as a geneticist specializing in weaponized gene splicing.
His mentor at TQB was Jared Wong, a former associate of Birdcage's Canary. After Dr Wong was killed by one of his former test subjects, Lance Xiao, Jedidiah was approached by the Phoenix Guild to be Dr Wong's replacement. He accepted, and is now being sponsored by Oriole.
