Staff & Vine

_{Staff and Vine are different characters, but I listed them as one due to how they are together most of the time.}

Staff

Staff is quiet and people-pleasing, despite how he swears like a sailor, but can be rude or insensitive without meaning to. Inside of Staff's body resides liquid magic that is almost equivalent to sap or blood. Due to this, Staff has the ability to cast spells, especially with tarot cards. They also have the ability to telepathically communicate with anything or anyone who he touches in a close proximity. 

Two years ago, Staff was hit by a tree during an earthquake, causing a major injury to it's head. Although his wound is now healed and left with luminous scars, Staff still suffers from headaches and fatigue. When Staff stumbled upon Vines, they had accidentally ruined a project it was working on. Due to an overwhelming feeling of guilt, Staff now brings Vine along with him, to keep it safe as it rebuilds it's project in it's own time.

Staff's head is solidly made out of a smooth, glossy material akin to glass or polished stone, and can be drawn either fully opaque or semi-transparent.

Vine/s

Vine is well-meaning and optimistic. He often offers helpful advice, although at times it can be quite odd and silly. Vines has no ability to speak, and has no sense of vision, so it tends to cling to anyone who's friendly to it, especially Staff. Vine is especially drawn towards Staff for multiple reasons, mainly being how Vine is able to communicate with Staff easily due to their magic. Vines enjoys making arts and crafts with the materials around him, often in a variety of shapes and textures.
