Nat Elmpool has seldom seen the outside of her small farm home in the Enchanted Forest, but fate makes an opportunity for her as she finds herself caught in the web of the world of Dragonia.
She's a dirty and unkempt young wood elf, but her most notable feature is her swarms and swarms of insects that she keeps with her at all times as her "Hive". She joined the party purely on a whim for some food, which she rarely sees outside of her childhood home.
As hungry as she is, her appetite for knowledge about her past and her Grandma may be more than she could ever handle.
Nat, as an individual, rarely thinks for herself. That's her hive's job. They know what's best for her.
Nat has never been this far from home before, and her lack of knowledge about the the world as well as herself both frustrate and intruige her. She is generally very awkward and shy, fumbling over her words and wringing her hands while she speaks. She'll always try to seek out more to learn about herself, even if it's sometimes too much to stomach.
- Her favorite food is anything she can keep down.
- Though her Hive is very much a part of her identity, only Nat can understand what they're saying to her.
- She finds herself inexplicably distressed when she's separated from her Hive for any reason.
- Her associated tarot is the star, reversed.

Sharp. I need it to be sharp. It has my name on it. I won't forget again.
Why won't they come back...

Nat generally has a low amount of trust for the party. They're outside her hive, that's not good.
Even though the majority of the party is afraid of Nat after the events of The Insanity, there are a few standouts that still genuinely want a happy ending for her.
Even though Nat may not value most of them, she really doesn't want to see them die.
Nat always saw Radbug as the strongest of the group, even if he seemed to be hiding something. But as her Grandma drew closer and closer, Nat begged Radbug to keep her safe from the hag.
Hearing her endangerment, Radbug vowed to protect Nat with his life. They grew close as companions, even under the ever-present threat of her Grandma's tracker.
But that all changed when he killed Bee. Again and again. Even if by accident, he has taken everything from Nat. And tried to make her forget. Forget and forget again and again. But Nat will always remember how he has hurt her.
Bandor Brooke has not been with the party long, but has gradually warmed up to and has even been able to empathize with Nat to an extent.
Nat appreciates Bandor's care, even through her monstrous actions, but feels that their passive methods of conflict resolution cannot solve the party's problems.
Some people she needs to hurt badly.
Nat has few memories of Khoronos before his injury, but she understands that something has gone deeply wrong within this man.
She feels a closer connection to this strange and unstable man more than anyone else in the party, and sees him as her only wedge against Radbug. Even through that, she owes her life to him for bringing Bee back from the dead.
A Hag presenting as an elf-ish woman. She is perfect in every way, especially for a Hag. She was planning on eating Nat upon her return home, and had previously fed Nat her six older siblings.
In their brief reunion in The Fey, she placed a magical tracker on Nat's wrist, which has since been indicating her gradual approach to Nat's location with the party.
Nat is generally devoid of fear, but something about her Grandma chills her soul to its core. Even though she grows more and more to resent the monster in her family, Nat is terrified. She can't end up like the others.
Before Grandma, there was Bee. Nat does not remember much, but she remembers the smell of flowers, the sweetness of her voice, and the love that they shared.
Nat had not seen Bee for many years after Grandma had arrived. She had only existed as a firefly by Nat's side, trapped between life and death to guide her magic and erase everything Nat remembers about her old life.
On a whim through a dark deal with a God, Nat brought Bee back. She didn't last long though. Not with Radbug around. It was only after Khoronos cast the most powerful spell of all that Bee could come back from what Radbug did. But she is not safe. Not as long as she is around Nat and the party.
