Begonia is often said to be sweet, innocent, and naïve, making him very different from Brick, his alternate reality counterpart. While not dumb, he is fairly ditzy. He's artistic and cares a lot about the feelings of other people, so he doesn't always think ahead before rushing into action to try and help someone else. Beryl has often warned him of stretching himself too thin, even comparing him to the Happy Prince, but Begonia just wants to see the sad people of Viletown be happy.
