a half drow cleric of eilistraee who was raised in a big commune on the surface. the whole community worshipped eilistraee and lenore's drow mom was a cleric/priestess as well, so she was eager for lenore to follow in her footsteps. both of lenore's moms escaped from the underdark before she was born with the help of other followers of eilistraee, and were welcomed into their community with open arms. the community was mostly made up of women, and most of those women were lesbians. there were a few men but they presented pretty feminine so lenore went through most of her childhood not really even knowing what a man was. she thought everyone was a woman and some just presented more masc than others.
she heavily follows her community's teachings and eilistraee's values. she enjoys helping people, especially other often persecuted races. she also loves the arts, especially music and dance. she plays the lyre. she's often sneaking out of camp at night to dance under the moonlight and communicate with her goddess. she has a kind of shy, delicate, maidenly air about her. that "she's so virginal, she's never even Seen a man" vibe. she's very short and has big eyes and a quiet voice, so people tend to kind of underestimate her and assume that she must just be a delicate healer goody two shoes type. but she's a tempest cleric so she just electrocutes you instead hehe
she's also very intense about Gender Equality, since that's one of eilistraee's big things (compared to lolth and her kinda misandrist society). she insists that she treats men the same as women, but honestly that's not really true. she doesn't understand men, having come from a matriarchal society that was primarily made up of women, and she tends to kind of hold them at arm's length. she's much more comfortable and close to women.
