Purrailles (purr-ales) are a colorful species of humanoid creatures with cat-like features- most noticeably of which are their braided tails.

Purraille have three cat tails that split from their tailbones, which are kept braided 90% of the time. At birth, the tails are relatively naked, but the fur grows in quickly and in a multitude of colors. In order to accommodate the braiding, the bones in purraille tails are quite flexible, and each tail is not very muscular. There is a limited range of movement for each tail, especially if they're braided together. The weight of the tail fur prevents purrailles from lifting their tails too easily. It's very embarrassing for a purraille to be seen with its tail unbraided, and it's considered a crime to forcibly unbraid one's tail. Married or mated purrailles often braid their tails together at the tips to show their love, and will spend weeks at a time connected in this way.

In general, purraille bodies are pear-shaped, with wide-set hips and larger thighs. This shape is accentuated by their comparatively narrow waist and thin shoulders. Purrailles rarely develop muscle, although it's not unheard of, and as such their bodies remain plump and soft in most places, specifically the butt/hip area. Their cheeks, bellies, and forearms are fleshy and soft to the touch. All purrailles have six nipples, but the lower two sets are vestigial and only the top two develop mammary glands and tissue.

Purrailles subsist on a primary diet of liquid dairy products, while processed dairy like cheese, cream, and even ice cream and yogurt- serve as delicacies.

TAIL TRAIT NOTES:

Color gradiented tails are the most common type, with alternating colors being a close second.
A completely solid colored tail (as in, all three tails are the same, solid color) is a Super Rare trait.
Accented tails are individual (or more) tails that display 10%-25% of a different color in various patterns or shapes.
50%, or Multicolored tails are individual (or more than one) tails that display 40%-60% of a different color in various patterns.
USUALLY, only one of the purraille's tails exhibit the Multicolored tail trait. If multiple tails do, it adds to the rarity (because it's technically under the 'Solid' trait) and the combination makes it a Legendary trait.
