About

Betty is the sweetest soosh you'll ever meet! She's EXTREMELY friendly (though stubborn), and loves giving her friends gifts to show her affection, especially in the form of records that remind her of them. Betty owns The Sanctuary's most hopping record shop, Betty's Bops, and lives in a flat above the shop. She is always waiting with a milkshake next to her to make a new friend. Her record shop is littered with flowers, especially roses, inspired by her girlfriend Gracie's floral shop. Betty also loves baking, and her dream is to transform her record shop into a duel milkshake bar!

Magic

Betty can play any one song at her will. When this happens, a record illusion appears to be spinning around her tail. This ability is an illusion power because its two parts consist of an auditory illusion (the sound of the music) and a visual illusion (the mirage of the record on Betty's tail)!

Personality

Betty is a hopeless romantic, and though her temper can be ferocious, she's ultimately a softy and will always forgive and forget. She loves all things sixties: the music, the diners, and especially the milkshakes. Betty loves to dance and spend late nights with her friends styling their hair, bopping out to music, and wandering Culario. She's a very free spirit, and always wants to be moving: she can't focus to save her life! She also has an endearing sweet tooth, and she's always snacking.

• Betty loves long, flowey skirts, and finds any excuse to wear them (unless they get in the way of her adventuring).
• Betty's favorite color is her signature cherry red.
• Betty is based on Black Cherry and Kirsch Truffle Desserts.
• Despite loving upbeat sixties bops, Betty also loves slow, folksy songs (think of the album folklore).
• Betty dreams of finding her perfect soulmate to duet life with. She'd even teach them to sing with her!
• Betty is a HUGE crybaby. She'll find a reason to get emotional about almost every movie she watches or song she hears.
• Betty is a great party host! Every Friday night, she has a karaoke party at the record shop!
• New Years Resolution: to meditate to find her inner calm. She'll probably get bored and fail in about a week, even with Aubrie devotedly by her side.
