About In her free time Quinlan enjoys whittling silly wooden creatures, cooking, hiking, doodling wildlife, and playing sandbox games. Their dream is to make a field journal of the local coast. Quinlan is a really thoughtful person and is also really physically affectionate with those he's close with. They tend to ramble about their interests and can seem shy or standoffish if you don't know them.
Quinlan's main story takes place with their best friend, Piper, during the summer after their Senior year of highschool where both are taking a break from summer work to try to figure out their lives. But when they return to the coastside town they grew up in for the summer, something seems off. The town is full of new mysteries to uncover and everything around time is not quite right...
At it's core, Quinlan and Piper's story is a coming of age story containing magical realism, time loops, and about forging a sense of self in the face of generational trauma.
