The youngest child of the founding family of the Village Hidden in the Ground, Senshyu has "enjoyed" a pampered and isolated childhood. Due to the fragility of his kekkei genkai, as well as the political risk of his status in the village, his interactions growing up came mostly from staff and family members. As such, Senshyu is incredibly shy and lacking in self-confidence.
However, as part of Team 1, Senshyu is starting to come out of his shell (no pun intended). Finally able to leave his home village and go on missions with his teammates, Senshyu has found himself with something prove to the people around him: That he is a capable shinobi.
- Senshyu's kekkei genkai allows him to shed damaged skin in layers, like an onion. Upon shedding, he is healed. However, with each subsequent layer, he becomes physically frailer and more prone to damage, necessitating more and more layer peeling. A plus side, is that his power also grows exponentially as he loses layers. These layers grow back slowly overtime (approx. 1 day per layer). Should he lose all his layers, he would die.
