i have yet to name his nen abilities. esal's nen ability involves conjuring a giant wasp-like nen beast with a sharp stinger and sharp mandibles. he nicknamed the wasp "melissa" and refers to it as "she", even though as a nen beast the wasp has no biological sex. the wasp's stinger is not normally equipped with venom, but rather is used for general impalement. the wasp can fly and be used as a battle mount. occasionally, the wasp can "eat" inanimate organic material (e.g. plants, fungi, animal carcasses) and immediately ferment the material into an infectious, biohazardous material released through the stinger. this is less common.
likes insects, especially hymenopterans. his hunter work revolves around the classification of newly discovered terrestrial arthropod species as well as the conservation of terrestrial arthropods.
