02 — Personality
Maxine is a solitary person, dedicated only to her job as a bounty hunter, but never hesitates to lend a hand to those who need it most. Her purpose is unclear, but as far as we can tell, she's looking to get away from her family.
An expert in firearms (notably her Mauser C96, which she handles and makes herself) and bladed weapons, as well as in hand-to-hand combat.
She refuses to use her powers and uses many antidotes to numb her vampire nature.

03 — Background
Child
Maxine is the Voermans' youngest and fourth child. The poor girl barely received her mother's love, which was much taken advantage of by her older sister Eris. The relationship between the sisters was constantly strained by Eris's jealousy of Maxine. As Maxine grew older, the older sister bodyshamed her younger sister because she was smaller and "flat". It was only in her teens that Maxine was able to get some respite when Eris went out partying with other men and women, allowing her to spend time with her mother. But alas, it was all very short-lived too...
Vampire Hunt
The Great Vampire Hunt of 1875 and the untimely death of her mother left Maxine on her own for good. She should have joined Eris, but the latter, still a teenager, rejected Maxine and left her to her fate. However, she managed to escape by being adopted by an English family moving to France. Maxine grew up and learned to live alongside mortals, and had a brother-in-law who joined the army and taught her a few tricks so she could defend herself. Her vampire nature sometimes got the better of her, but Maxine managed to keep control, so much so that the family wizard had, exceptionally, to find an antidote to turn Maxine into a mortal. In the meantime, she obtained a recipe for creating potions to calm her vampire nature, instead of the potion he distributed to her siblings. When Maxine's brother-in-law died in the 14-18 war, she recovered her Mauser C96 and kept it with her for a long time. Maxine stayed with her in-laws to support them to the end. Her adoptive family eventually realized that Maxine was a vampire, but they didn't report her to the militia, as she had helped them so much and shown them another side of vampires that it would be wrong to do so. When the last member died in 1954, Maxine found herself alone again.
Now
Since 1954, Maxine has become a sort of bounty hunter, carrying out missions without rest. She wanders without a specific goal, except that she wants to become a mortal. Also, her deep anger for her sister Eris rumbles within her and swears that if she meets her again, she will kill her.

Maxine's outfit is inspired by Helena Harper from RESIDENT EVIL 6.

Maxine was created to be the antithesis of Eris. That's why she's skinny, small compared to her sister and has a very flat body.

In early ideas, Maxine was supposed to be almost the same as her sister, but there would be no point in creating a second Eris.
05 — Relationships
Sister
The relationship between the two sisters is extremely tense. Since the Great Vampire Hunt, they have never seen each other again. Maxine hates Eris with your soul. What she doesn't know is that today, Eris doesn't have the same opinion...
Creator
Maxine is less distant with his creator and has a little more respect and sympathy, she also appreciates his girlfriend.
