Personality: | Sango has a level head on her shoulder and often feels like a mother to those around her. She has more sense than what her adoptive mother knows what to do with. She will be a strong mare when she grows up, possible one who will be fit enough to be a lead or a beta mare. She is a good baby sitter for those younger than her, though she doesn't enjoy teaching all that much. She loves to do her job and has a good ethic of work, if she is told to do it. She has a more gentle soul than her adoptive mother. She is good on her word, but isn't as vicious and aggressive and often lacks incentive at times. She can't wait to grow up and maybe one day become a mother or even help fight in a battle. She is one of those who can't wait to grow up. |
History: | Sango was born on a road side zoo at a bad time. The food was starting to run out and her mother didn't have a lot of milk to feed her. She knew little of Mara until she was introduced to her at a month old. She knew something was going to happen when her mother told her to go with her, racing away from everything she had ever known with Julie Anne. She knew the mule foal from the paddock next to her and they did their best to keep up with Mara. They spent some time in the wild, slowly learning what it was like to be free. They started to get rich milk from Mara as she was able to eat the food that was needed. The young filly slowly began to explore and play, growing into herself and slowly developing her personality. She spent the next six months growing up in the her herd and with her new brother. It didn't take to long after her brother was born that a stranger came and came and set the land on fire. Her home was fought over and the war was soon over and the neutrals where held as part of the war. She had turned a year old by the time the war was over and the herd leader disappeared and it was about a month or so before her mother went to claim the land. After a while her mother left the herd land taking them all into the freelands. Her mother simply told her it was to much stress for her to run the herd and she wanted to keep them safer in the freelands. |
