Kaito

Kaito might look like a typical criminal, but where there should be a scowl only a disinterested look will be found. His shoulders are always relaxed and his demeanour laid back, easily accepting whatever comes his way, be it life twists or people, and brushing off some things other people would find startling, impressive or just plain crazy. Things just don’t seem to faze him and he’s out here to have a good fun time. He only seems to get serious in a fight where his more sadistic tendencies come out to the forefront. Though they can also be observed in the bouts of laughter he has when someone else encounters a misfortune.

Despite this, he doesn’t mind lending his ear to those who need it, yet expecting kind words back would be a little too much. He isn’t someone who would lie or agree just to spare someone’s feelings - if there’s a messed up then own up to it. However not everything that comes out of his mouth should be trusted, he has no qualms against twisting the truth into whatever is the most convenient for him and no one has ever managed to get anything out of him he didn’t want to say. He’s not only protective of his words, but also whatever he considers his, be it people or objects. He will constantly go out of his way to ensure their safety, regardless of the measures needed.

Calm and serene isn’t Kaito’s style, at least when he’s not absorbed in some project, he needs noise, to be entertained, excitement, just something going on. So if there’s nothing, then he go out of his way to stir up trouble. This can manifest in many ways from misplacing someone’s belongings, pitting people against each other, dropping a bucket of water on someone’s head or just being a general annoyance. Everything is in good humour and he rarely means any malice. He’s a happy sort, out for a good time and a cheap laugh with a great weakness for puns. Kaito has a tendency to look at things from the brighter side, always quick with finding scenarios on how things might’ve been far more sour. But he also leaks sarcasm everywhere, whenever he can, so in the grand scheme of things, the two mix up a lot making it hard to distinguish his actual intentions.

The way Kaito moves and acts, rather low energy and seemingly always tired, might paint him like a lazy guy but that couldn’t be further from the truth. He adores messing around with various materials, especially wood and metals, to create anything that comes to mind. It’s his main way of expressing himself and he has a good head on his shoulders for it. He will tear apart any foreign object he comes into contact with and rebuild it into something new. He’s very dedicated to his work and anything else he does, so he rarely leaves a project unfinished. Sometimes he gets so incredibly immersed in it, that he completely forgets there’s more to the world than the tiny mechanism he’s trying to put together. Actually, even without the distraction he’s incredibly forgetful.

It might be surprising, but it’s rather easy to twist his arm into partaking in things, even when the people involved are complete strangers. He gives in rather easily, especially if he can smell trouble brewing. And he’ll be a rather good ally to boot, giving his all to whatever cause he was called for. Additionally, once Kaito gets attached to someone, he’s very devoted and will do his best to please them, even to very far extremes. He’ll happily follow whatever orders given, albeit he might take some artistic liberties here and there, though never with ill will.

That loyalty is also very hard to shake off, even when he knows he should and these people are doing him far more harm than good, he still has trouble cutting ties. Perhaps it’s because he’s extremely set in his ways and whatever opinions he holds are hard to change, of which he has plenty and not all of them are very nice. Though he is rather good at keeping those to himself.

Kaito’s most notable feature is his intense light blue eyes with dark circles under them that stand out against his fair skin and black messy hair. He cuts his hair to keep it slightly above his shoulders, but doesn’t try to otherwise tame the unruly mess. When the weather is hot or wayward strands get in his way a little too much, Kaito does try to wrestle it into a low pony tail with varying degrees of success. From that hairy mess stick out two long redish ears that are a rather unusual trait for a bisharp and he's rather proud of it. He also has quite a few piercings: three lobe studs and one industrial in each ear, plus ring snake bites.

Kaito has a lean figure built over the years of physical activity decorated with reminders of his past. On his chest, slightly to the left from the center, he has a thin, X shaped scar no bigger than his middle finger in length. Besides that one, he has a few other smaller ones hiding here and there on his body. When Kaito stands he usually leans slightly back – a habit he doesn’t know where he picked up. It stays true when he walks as well, since he likes to stare up at the sky and by extension, stumb his toe or trip over stuff he failed to notice.

Clothing style:

Kaito usually wears dark colours; navy and grey being his favourites as they are the best options for stealth. He adores furs and feathers, so he often sews them to his clothing as decorations. Overall, he likes to experiment with his clothes, attaching one thing to the other and making everyday wear much more complicated than it should be. He gravitates towards looser fitting clothes that don’t hold warmth, since he overheats easily.

Weaponry:

• None - Kaito is more of a at the moment sort of guy and prefers to use whatever he can find lying around as a weapon, just to toss it after whatever he needed it for.
