Fletcher

History: 

In the underwater world that the humans call the ocean. Lives a mythical race thought to be nonexistent. In this underwater world, they live out their everyday lives in a different type of setting. 

Their (old) Queen was the fairest of all the merpeople. She was wise, fair, but she could also be serious, and dangerous when angered. 

The Queen's assassin was hidden from all of her people. She lived in the palace secretly. From everyone's view. 

Killian was like the queen's daughter. She was given everything she wanted and need. Aand yet there was something different about her. 

Whoever looked at her got a chill up their spine. Like though she had a kind nature there was also something dark about her.

But that was her inner self, deceptive, deceiving, jealous, and cold. Plus a few other things. 

Each day Killian would fix the queen's morning, evening, and nightly meals. Day after day she introduced poison into her food and drink. 

Slowly yet surely it began to take hold of the queen. It slowly crept into the queen's brain allowing Killian to take over her mind. 

A day before the queen died she declared to her people that she was ill.

And pronouncing who she considered to be her daughter the new ruler of the underwater world. 

Before the "calling" the underwater wonderland was a semi-peaceful oasis. Were the merpeople lived in harmony together. 

The calling was when everything changed. That day the (Late) queen died at the hand of Killian.

After that day Killian bartered with a fairy. So that she could control the merpeople.

But what Killian didn't know is that the fairy also put a spell on her. And a safe spell on all of her people.

She asked the fairy to put a spell on the next generation of merpeople. A spell to stop her people from having merchildren.

And that was the beginning. After that, she rewarded the good mercouples with merbabies. 

Inside each new merbaby she planted a desire. The desire to follow. Follow her every order.  Follow her every word.  Follow her period. 

Most merpeople were crafted from two parents genes. In the palace, the Queen performs the bonding of the two genes to create a merbaby. 

Once that merbaby is created the Queen introduces that baby back to the family that was always theirs. But despite the merbaby going back to their family. 

There will always be something different with the relationship between their parents and the queen. This baby from then on after has a desire to always serve the queen. 

Since it first saw her and imprinted. The only few merpeople who do not have this unordinary - strange desire are the ones before and as the queen was beginning her reign.

Fletcher who was one of the many before the Queen's time has been on the search for others without the desire.

He has tried to convince others with the desire trying to tell them about Killian's bad intent. But has failed miserably.  

Fletcher has devoted years to this. For the freedom of his people.  Fletcher is not one to give up easily. 

He goes down fighting. No matter if he dies or lives with a scar. 

Fletcher couldn't let this continue. Allowing Killian to put lies in all of their heads. 

So he would just have to resort to drastic measures to save his people. 

That is one of the reasons that Fletcher's arm is missing. 

He tried to kill the queen. But someone had betrayed him. The Queen knew everything. 

She was waiting to strike. The queen was one of the best. She used to be the late queen's secret assassin. 

Hidden she waited beside the window. Waiting for Fletcher to swim through her window. Then she struck. 

She personally believed not in killing but in lessons. Teaching someone by taking something away from them. 

But if she had to she would kill. She wouldn't even hesitate if it was in her opinion necessary.

That night blood seeped into the ocean. Killian (The queen) Took his right arm.
