He resents being a Prince, he never wanted this
Alabaster was third in line for the throne, with an older brother and an older sister set to rule before he ever would. Since he didn't want to rule, he went into the kingdoms army, quickly becoming the head of the guard.
Everything changed when a war broke out, and his father and older siblings were killed. He was forced to take on the throne while living with the grief from losing his family.
Ruling was never meant to be his job, and he feels deep rooted guilt over their death. He's a very cold and intense leader, and he vowed to never again risk his kingdoms safety.
Crystal Wish, his Royal advisor, has been helping keep things smoothe with other kingdoms, and helps to avoid another conflict due to Alabasters harsh attitude.
