Valentine tries to be an easy-going kind of guygalpal - but in truth, she's spiteful, vindictive and doesn't tend to fuck around. She's blunt, and flirtatious - taking what she wants and saying how she sees it. She tries to be friendly, perhaps too much so in order to hide her deadly temper and apathy about the world around her. She plays friend, but in a strange, almost cruel way - pushing people's limits just because she can. She does have a hammer and she's not afraid to use it. The only thing that's keeping her even remotely kind is her younger sibling, Oslo - a boy forced to grow up in isolation due to strange visions that have frightened him and tore their family apart. Val did most of the work raising and providing for Oslo and feels incredibly protective of him - so much so that if someone even says anything negative about Oslo, Valentine physically lashes out. Val has very little in the world, just Oslo and her hammer, affectionately called Cupid's Arrow and anything were to happen to either, there's no telling what Valentine would do in her misplaced, misguided fury.
