| Personality | Prideful, selfish, and short-sighted, Cinderdown has made many mistakes in his life. He's soft-spoken and does not make a big show of how highly he thinks of himself, but inside, he cares deeply about his image, and even has gone so far as to retire prematurely to avoid seeing a decrease in his performance after his injury. He speaks of his mate who was going to divorce him as though she was perfect, to avoid admitting to failing to have the 'perfect' family. He is very competitive, and jealous of the various cats with more prestige in the clans. | |
| History | Cinderdown was a prideful SplashClan warrior. He met Vlasta, a loner from the city, while patrolling the mountain borders. She joined the clan, earning the name Wanderfeather, when she learned of their collaborative living style, and the pair eventually had two kits together, Sootkit and Driftkit. Wanting his kids to strive for success, Cinderdown motivated them by making competitions out of almost everything, which unintentionally drove a wedge between the two as their rivalry grew to hatred. This upset Wanderfeather, and he was upset with her as well as she was set on getting a more important rank in the clans. She even told him she intended to leave him to become the medicine cat's apprentice. However, the two of them were aggressed by a goat, resulting in Wanderfeather's death and Cinderdown being heavily injured. While Cinderdown's injuries have mostly healed, he remains retired in fear that he will not be the warrior he was before his injury. To this day, he has not let his children know his relationship with their mother was imperfect, let alone set to split. He encourages them to carry on his legacy by attaining success and continuing the bloodline, while he is disappointed that they left SplashClan. | |
